Jimblebar Gold
Target commodity: Gold
- Underexplored and underexploited historical goldfield of 2km strike length with potential extensions to 8km.
- Small scall underground mining in the 1930's produced 3,670 ounces of gold, however mining stopped at the water table.
- Warwick has consolidated the area to the north of Jimblebar and is evaluating the entire 8km length of the prospective sequence.
- Warwick's recent drilling at Sunny South has confirmed the presence of high grade gold shoots at shallow depths (eg.1m @ 144g/t Au within 8m @ 20.4 g/t Au) and continuity of gold mineralisation over 600m of strike.
- Preliminary metallurgical tests indicate high gold recoveries (>97%) from conventional CIL/CIP processing.
- Large target identified at Pilliwinkle South.
- Drilling Q4 2008.
