Copper Range

Target commodities: copper with zinc, silver, gold by-products

  • Known disseminated copper occurences within a 9km strike length of a felsic volcanic unit.
  • Potential for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralisation.
  • Warwick is evaluating the Copper Range project in terms of a large tonnage - low grade open cut project at Copper Knob with multiple satellite sources of higher grade ore.
  • Broad copper intersections with high grade intervals at Copper Knob, 67m @0.48% Cu from surface including 6m @ 2.19% Cu  in Warwick drill hole WRKRC2.
  • Potential upside from credits, including cobalt, zinc, gold, silver and palladium have been demonstrated in Warwick's drilling.
  • Magnetite lenses within the host unit represent potential exhalites and mark a prospective horizon for VMS style mineralisation.
  • High success rate from initital drilling of EM targets including 47m @ 0.3% Cu and 1m of massive sulphide assaying 1.2% Cu, 0.2 g/t Au, 14 g/t Ag, 0.05% Co and 0.3% Ni (WRKRC28).
  • Intersection of 16m @ 1.2% Cu, 0.2 g/t Au and 18 g/t Ag (WRKRC24) demonstrates potential for higher grade satellite sources of ore.
